Lion’s Share are back after a six year hiatus and have recruited acclaimed vocalist Patrik Johansson, known for his work with metal sensations Astral Doors and Wuthering Heights.

According to the Finnish newspaper Ilta-Sanomat, Nightwish’s upcoming “Dark Passion Play” CD could very well turn out to be the most expensive album ever produced in Finland.
“The final cost of the album was around 500,000 euros [approximately $670,000],” stated band leader Tuomas Holopainen. “We didn’t make any compromises that were money-related. Nothing was held back so there is nothing we could’ve done better.”

Century Media Records have posted the new video clip for Greek/American melodic metal band Firewind’s latest single ‘Breaking the Silence’ on their Youtube channel. The clip features a guest appearance by female singer Tara Teresa and comes off Firewind’s latest album ‘Allegiance’.
