Greetings. The website first saw the light of day in July of 2007, where the goal initially was to establish a place on the web where the administrator (Sam) could archive some of his favourite metal videos, and to post some reviews for those who happen to stop by. The Metal Ministrel webzine is slowly becoming a more dedicated project, and has since established a collaboration with a few metal zines/sites to bring you select album reviews featuring some of the worlds newest and exciting artists, as well as the old.

The site features material from the following well established and informative websites, including the Swedish metal webzine, Metal Covenant, and most recently, Metal CD Ratings.

These sites are not only a host to many more reviews, interviews, and just about everything metal, but they include in their ranks dedicated and skilled staff members from around the world who are also involved in projects of their own. Some have hosted (or still host) their own ‘Metal’ Radio Shows while others write for prominent magazines such as Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles and Metal Hammer. So it’s highly recommended that you also visit these sites for other cool stuff otherwise not featured here. Many thanks goes out to these metal masters for allowing their material to be published at Metal Minstrel.

Metal Minstrel is “still” at the early stages of development. As time goes by you will slowly notice more content is being added, with more reviews, some of the latest news, along with new video streams for you to enjoy. Eventually there will be enough information here to make Metal Minstrel a valuable news and entertainment website for lovers of quality heavy music.
